You Are the Best! (Korean: 최고다 이순신 ; Hanja: 最高다 이순신 ; RR: Choegoda Isunsin ; MR: Ch'oegoda Isunshin ; lit. The All-time Lee Soon-shin ) is a 2013 South Korean television series starring IU, Jo Jung-suk, Get Doo-shim, Lee Mi-sook, Yoo In-na, Son Tae-young, Go Joo-won and Jung Woo. It aired on KBS2 from March 9 to August 25, 2013, at xix:55 (KST) on Saturdays and Sundays for fifty episodes. The drama is about a family, devastated after the sudden death of the father, that learns the true meaning of honey and happiness. Kim Jung-ae (Go Doo-shim) lovingly raised Lee Soon-shin (IU) as her own daughter subsequently her husband brought the babe home, saying that he plant her solitary at a bus stop. Title controversy [edit]
Global Youth League DN filed an injunction in Seoul Central Commune Court confronting broadcaster KBS for using the proper name "Lee Soon-shin" in the title of the drama. The injunction requested that the broadcast be halted immediately, that "Lee Soon-shin" exist removed from the title, and that the character'due south name exist changed. The group claimed that historical figure Lee Before long-shin (or Yi Sun-sin), an admiral famed for his victories against the Japanese Navy in the Imjin War during the Joseon Dynasty, is an official national symbol whose condition will "deteriorate" when associated with the "weak and clumsy" protagonist that pb actress IU plays.[12] [thirteen] [fourteen] [15]
KBS and production visitor A Story said they take no plans of irresolute the title or character name.
